My Progression

I want to cry

Just pour my eyes out

But I am Humble and Brave

And I know my will is strong enough

My heart might be splintered

but to big to ever break

And despite my imperfections

I am a beauty in the mist

But in the midst of everything

this one question can tear me down

And I shred straight into tears

So I lie to cover it up

I am not ashamed

I just couldn't say without the tears

I was too deep to understand

and most won’t ever understand

But now I can

So now when YOU ask

“What’s wrong with your walk, are you okay”

“Do you mind it I ask” *then points at my fingers*

I’d probably say with a smile

I am Sa’Marye and I have JRA and I effects my knees and joints

But in the end I will always have resilience

and I have the power to thrive
