My Mirror of Motivation

My mirror of motivation,

Stares back at me daily.

Sometimes it smiles and sometimes it cries,

But within it's glassy walls lives a woman who

Is nothing but a bag of dreams and anxious success.

My mirror of motivation has taught me

To breathe and arrest

All of my fears and maybe shed a few tears along the way

So that I don't have to live in pain.

With it's big brown eyes that implores me too read it's scriptures,

So that I do not forget all that I am, and I am happy to oblige.

My mirror of motivation lacks no dedication.

She often doubts but it never fully takes form because my mirror of motivation

Knows she is strong.

She is beautiful, smart, important, and brave,

And my mirror of motivation knows that she is here

To stay.
