My Loveless Shore

It'll Pull you away, hold you close
You won't even notice that you're not afloat.
While sinking down deep you won't feel the need,
You'll just keep smiling wanting this addictive mead.
The rush is so quick,
But time holds your throat.
When your shored back to reality,
Things never felt so slow.
Mind and body exposed,
The feeling of being so close.
You could not know,
For it has already taken you whole.
