MY LOVE

Do you remember that day?

When I and you had just met

In that room where everything was strange

And made it our meeting place

Where we shared our past experiences

Linking them to the present day.

When I stared into your eyes

My heart got stuck in a web of love

And there I saw you blush

When I said you should be mine

In that poem of modern evolution

In which you were made out of gold

And brought onto this universe

For men and women to fight

Just to have you by their side

I must have lost my senses

If what you said is true

That all these feelings are nonsense

Without any single love essence

But if yesterday wasn’t my making

Then my love isn’t a mere faking

It flows from like a tributary stream

All into your beautiful heart

Yesterday, today and tomorrow

It never loses its shape

This poem is about:
Me
