My Ignorance Toward Finance
Dear Childish Bliss,
I miss you today more than yesterday.
I'm so deep in the red. It's all I see.
The weight of every bill holds me down,
Leaving me trapped this great pressure.
The pressure of expectant relatives,
of past educators, of people who
doubted I'd make it this far, bearing down.
I miss you terribly, my once good friend.
You once accompanied my thoughts, sheielding
me from cruel facts of a far crueler world,
the cuelest of these being inequity.
But everyone grows up eventually,
and has to face these oh so cruel facts.
I just wish it didn't have to be this way.
Your disheartened friend,
