My room is my home inside my home.

It’s a place of peace and solitude.

Where I kneel to say my prayers and lay my head at night to rest, It is my exclusive haven. 

In my room, I embrace my time alone.

I can have any mood or attitude.

My place of escape when Im feeling overwhelmed and distressed, My room is my oasis. 

In my room, my thoughts are free to roam.
A place where no one can obtrude,
Where my dismal secrets and fears can be frankly expressed, It is my place of refuge. 

In my room, over time I have grown.
A place where enrichment has continued,
Where my personal development and maturity can steadily progress, My room is my personal harbor. 

My room is the home I’ve always known. Solace, for which I have gratitude.

A place where no emotions are invoked to be suppressed,  It is my sanctum.
