My Filter

Slumber, Crema, Ludwig, Aiden.

See the work my fingers create without the milky surface of a filter.

You can't hide the pride or the joy that elicits underneath my pulsing words with a degree of polish.

Perpetua, Amaro, Mayfair, Rise.

Watch me soar under a naturally purple sky.

Look at my barefeet squish the growing leaves, reborn grass, the muddy emeralds through the lens of your eye.

Hudson, Valencia, X-Pro II, Sierra.

Examine the wonderous instict of my wanderings and adventures on a piece of yellowed paper.

There's a taunting mystery beneath the layers of my skin and please dissect it with your mind, not your digital eyes.

Willow, Lo-Fi, Earlybird, Brannan.

Enjoy the poetry my wind creates with freedom.

Nothing but reality documents my strength and growth.

Inkwell, Hefe, Nashville.

My smile will not be idealized with an aesthetically pleasing blue tint.

I can travel through the world without the perfected filter offered through an insecure screen.
