My Cosmos

The universe collided in on itself,

Creating you

I would draw your beauty myself

However, the stars shimmering that make up you

Cannot be drawn in a common hue

I am aware that all of creation is made up of yellow, red, and blue

Yet my world was black and white

Vivid and thrumming with life now because of you

How could one forsake such a sight?

I could never ignore such a dazzling light

Selflessly showering the world in affection

Offering hate to none, yet

I am perplexed

Humans still give hate to you

Surely, the cosmos are complex

You treat me like a gift

So I would do anything to protect you

We are colliding waves that do not drift

This is because I love you

If everyone loved like you

Freely

A colorblind mankind would breakthrough

Ideally

Love sees nothing and speaks less

You my dear are love, I digress

because I love  you
