My Child,I could have

Fri, 03/04/2016 - 17:59 -- 449477

My Child,

I could have gone on,

lived as my family would have liked.

I could have kept on walking when I heard you utter those queer words.

But I didn't.

And now here we stand, breaking all the rules,

all the traditions.

Because I'm lucky to be in love with my best friend.

And you mean so much more..

This poem is about:
Me
My family
Our world
