I have changed over the last sixteen years

              I have cried a lot of tears

              I have even changed my religion to something else

              I use to not like my new self 

               But every morning it seems like I can actually change

               I can see the blazing hot sun and the old me once again

               I love to see the sunshine, the birds chirping, and see my room glow

               That's when i know, he does care about me and i'm here on a mission

                And that's to spread my intelligent mind and words over the world oceans

                 I thank God and Jesus for showing me my life isn't hopeless

               And to be alive not buried where i wish i was hoping
