My Autobiography (part 2)
He was madly in love with my mother and whatever chance came for him to help out in any way he took it. By the time I hit the age of 2, I began to gain consciousness, my first memory was being at my great-grandfather’s funeral I remember walking up to his casket and touching his pale dead hands my great-grandmother was crying in the background and I couldn’t fathom why I guess it’s just one of those things that you can not explain till you have your first gold fish floating upside down in a fish bowl.

I think the last line of the poem is the strongest: "I guess it’s just one of those things that you can not explain till you have your first gold fish floating upside down in a fish bowl" because this is definitely an event that anyone can relate to, and it's great that you can add this kind of relatability to your poems.
