Muharram

Day 28
Did you sight the moon
But the eclipse
For how long
Did the sun burn itself
The earth no longer round
But how long
Didn’t you hear
Eid never came
It is Muharram
They are surrounded
Thirsty and hungry
The lakes are poisoned
Lanes are wired
Messengers are gone
So are the healers
Birds are whispering
It’s gonna be long
A never ending Muharram
