Mr. Calculus Man

Mr. Calculus Man puts visions in my mind

That cause me to wake up screaming in fright

Derivatives by day, integrals by night

Just when I thought I was finished for the day,

the thoughts of limits plagued my life.

Weary though I am, Mr. Calculus Man

assigns more problems that he decides to not collect

I try to sleep, but then I remember:

“I’ve got to finish deriving all of these numbers”

The theorems that I know,

never made their show

During the AP Exam when I needed them the most

Mr. Calculus Man always says to leave behind my TI-83,

but owning it is my reality

Things that Mr. Calculus Man teaches me

Imbedded in my mind, they will always be
