Mr. Bryant loved teaching music,
to him it was music that opened the doors in life.
But not only did he love teaching music,
He loved writing music.
His pieces were like that of any other composer,
Ranging from soft and subtle to shockingly rambunctious, yet all the while
dangerously beautiful.
But there was this one piece he just could not seem to finish.
What could he possibly be missing he thought,
He loved his career, had an amazing family
and was content financially.
As he continued to struggle his inspiration,
along with sleep, escaped him.
The next few days he mentally searched all
the possible reasons for his
‘writers block’ when it finally hit him.
The symphony was about his long lost love,
They had met in high school but only remained friends.
Just like his symphony there were no ways to captivate
how he had felt about her, and so he put away
his unfinished piece to sit just like his heart had for so long,
incomplete and waiting patiently,
for day she would come back into his life.
