Moving forward

The wind whispers to her
On which way to go
Just follow your heart
And the right path will show
She finds herself in a thicket patch
Cant go forward and can't go back
Either direction and she'll feel the thorns sting
So she decided to set and contemplate things
After an hour in thought with night touching down
She stands with assertion and a small frown
She decides to run forward right through the pain
Because she knows in her past there is nothing to gain
