The Most Common Question as a Poet
The most common question I get as a poet: why am I a poet?
My answer? One word: power.
To cast spells using word to create a beautiful and majestic spectacle among the audience.
To throw myself the sea of despair for people to understand what it can feel like to drown.
To unlock the door of the room of unspoken word.
To paint the canvas of unillustrated thoughts.
To capture the picture of every view.
To be able to create the map to the treasure chest of interactions, life stories, knowledge, and adventures.
It is the power to capture and create any emotion that people find hard to explain.
It is the power to capture.
