In the Morning Light

Location

One

Golden

Sun

In the sky

Shimmering,

Alone;

Terrified,

But hopes…

For though

The sun

May go,

The moon

Will rise

To shine

Its worth

Down

Upon

A darkened

Earth;

And in the

Morning

Time

Once more

Will roll around,

And bring

Ashore

Illumination

From the sun

To light

Our lonely

Path

This dawn.

Darling,

Wipe

Tears

Off your

Face,

The stars

Won’t ever

Stop

Their trace

Across

The midnight sky,

To once more

Beckon forth

The light.

The light

Will

Always

Lead us on,

To cleanse

Our souls

With

Dance and

Song;

And in

Our hearts

The brightest

Light

Penetrates

Sadness

From

Long nights;

Seeping

Into

Corners,

Hearts,

Filling with

Joy

As vast as

Stars;

Darling,

The universe

May be

Dark;

But light

Will

Never

Leave

Your

Heart.
