Morning Fog

Morning fog comes creeping through my bed

Past the curtain monsters loom

Outfitted with Tap Out and Nike

Their mates nails sharp and polished

Armed with only white lillies I face the foes of the day

My courage stronger than the knight to be

I say to the locked door between their eyes

"You may never see this way"

"But I will protect my joy"
