The Monster

She was drinking

And wasn't payin' much attention

She felt woozy

And didn't really care

She went back to the dorm

And tried to find her friend

But she didn't.

She hurt

But everything was a blur

She cried

But it didn't matter

She lost

But no one stopped it

And she couldn't.

Her period was late

And she panicked

Her best friend took the other side

And she was alone

Her grades slipped

And no one would help

But she survived.

How dare he

take something that wasn't his?

How dare he

steal her innocence?

What kind of monster

could hurt her like that?

What kind of monster

didn't care?
