mom

Holding u close as you breath for the first time
Looking deep into your new eyes
Walk you to the bus for the first day of school
Leavung love notes in your lunch box
Hoping your day is going just the way it should
Helping you thought your first break up
Telling you there are more fish in the sea
Hands on her hips telling you yo clean your room
Scolding you for putting your elbows on the table
Crying as you head to college
Telling her you will be safe
Notes once a week
Calls every night
Laying in her bed
Setting over her
Holding her fragile hand
Looking deeo into her wise eyes
As she breaths for the last time
