Mom

You taught me how to live,
You taught me how to grow
You taught me,
That I'm a seed you sow
No matter what I face
Against the open space
You'll always love me
And Ill always love you
Mom you taught me
But also how to laugh
But also how to cry
I always had the question Why?
Why is life so hard?
It leaves me in the dust
When someone is left of gold and lust,
But momma
You told me
Life is a tree
I'm one of the leaves
With my sleeves
I love you momma
You've been my friend
Along a road
That never ends.
