Mister Matchmaker

He flits throughout the school,

Out of sight, out of mind.

Delivering love letters between lockers,

Exchanging notes between outstreched hands.

Carrying the smell of fresh flowers;

Bouquets of roses, carnations, peonies, tulips.

His name, Mister Matchmaker,

Spilling from lips like golden honey.

No matter the request,

If there is ever the need for love,

Just remember

The one and only, Cupid.
