In the heart of the night with no one in sight
I stand alone outside
Through the mist I’m running but find nowhere to hide.

Blackness all around me
Ahh! I can’t see!
A rough tap on my shoulder,
I turned around fast enough to see the demon
His bright red eyes were gleamin’

Being scared I ran then in my head prepared a plan
Made it at a rush, prayed by a tree but hush,
It won’t be long before they find me in the brush

Looking from left to right, deeply at the pit of the mist,
I see the light. As I run, the demons snatch me out of sight.

I finally break free and see the angel far off, dressed down in gold
He tells me I’m safe now and in his hold,
He then walks me to the father up above where I am protected forever
And loved…
