Missing you

What do I miss?

The touch of your kiss,

Or your bearing, loving eyes,

Or the feel of your hands,

sensitive exchanges & compromise

Or the exciting thoughts of future plans,

Or the laughter we shared,

Senseless happiness in joining hands

boundless amounts of caring for one another

impulsive and young stupidity together

Was it all real, the passion we felt?

Or is just that I have always dwelt

dwelt on the idea of you and I

Is there really nothing more than meets the eye?

I like to think that is far from the truth

Memories and feelings far from aloof

A love I had given many so many tries

Always craving a bond that could never die

No matter what, memories will always hold true

With an unexplainable connection that made me love you

In the end I will always remember

The days and nights we spent loving each other

The dates we had and the intimacy we shared

Emotional insurance that cannot be impaired
