The Mis-Take

Now that you’ve turned everything around,
I’m constantly caught with a frown and all because of what went down,
What? Are you confused? You don’t know went down,
why I’m always caught with a frown. You don’t see
that you put our friendship in jeopardy.
Is it not in plain view, fine then I’ll tell you the truth.
What you did was wrong, what you said, your words were strong.
I said no at first, why didn’t you accept that as my answer.
You pressured me into feeling sorrow for you.
I didn’t know what to do, so I agreed with you.
Later on I realized I had to stop what I had accidentally started.
But it was too late for me escape.
It was like being in the hardest level of my favorite video game.
When I tried to cheat, another level came that even harder to beat,
now I’m about to face defeat.
So now I’m in the middle of a game I don’t wanna play no more.
I wanna give up, I wanna quit. I realize that I’m better than this.
So I gotta reset.
Push the buttons on my remote controller.
And just start all over
