Mirror, Mirror

Mirror, mirror on the wall

I’ve thrown away your crystal ball

No more fake love stories, no more feeding girls lies

I see right through your little disguise

Rapunzel, Rapunzel let down your hair

Some news is awaiting, come down if you dare

I need Sleepy, Dopey, and bring Grumpy too

To inform Sleeping Beauty her retirements due

Tell Cinderella her glass slippers are shattered, the ballroom is trashed, and her dresses are tattered

Us girls grow up and glow up in a matter of minutes,

And we don’t need some fairy godmother to guide us within it

We will wake up each day, be our best self

Work to be kind, and stay in good health

I’m ditching the love stories, trashing the lies

Girls don’t need a prince, ditch the King and his men

Newsflash ladies:

A man’s no longer needed at the ball to attend
