The Mirror of Dispair
The fire danced as she sat and watched.
She soon became lost, her surroundings subsided.
She looked through the mirror of scorching scarlet,
What she saw she was not proud of.
Her actions were like nightmares reborn from the ashes of buried truth.
She wanted to run, but she couldn't even move.
It was like watching a train derail.
Who knows how long she loyally sat there,
Waiting for the endless evaluation to faithfully fade.
Finally she stood as the sizzling sticks subdued,
Dark depression coldly cloaked around her.
