Mine

Wrapped in your arms

On a cold and rainy day

Kisses on my cheek

As i beg of you stay

To sit by the fire

As i contently hold your hand

And talk about a family

We one day hope to plan

As i read a favorite book

To then rant about it’s woes

Telling you tales of my friends

But mostly of my foes

Because through you ive found a piece

That i lost long ago

A pure and passionate fire

With an everlasting glow

As you whisper my name

Quietly in the dark

I smile against the sheets

And give to you my heart

An elegant happiness

In your love i find

Thanking god for the day

I got to call you mine
