Milk, Honey, and Prosperity

I’ve never liked to drink milk,

granite I’m lactose intolerant, I’ve never liked to drink milk.

I was always told that milk will give me healthy bones and a pretty smile,

granite this is true, but I’ve still never liked to drink milk.

I don’t exactly have a sweet tooth,

and for that my friends would stare at me strange at the ice cream booth.

I don’t exactly indulge in Halloween candy,

not because it’s the devil’s holiday but because I don’t have a sweet tooth.

One could say my childhood was sweet,

and now my adulthood is a treat.

I now know there is more to the world than milk and honey,

I promise that because it’s full of prosperity.

Prosperity is key,

when you extract the ingredients from milk and honey.

Milk strengthens the mind,

Honey sweetens the grind.

A perfect balance of both,

is what crafts growth.

I’ve never liked to drink milk, I don’t exactly have a sweet tooth,

But I know there is more to my glowing and prospering truth.
