Metallic Mind

A metallic mind is created by a single word

Many words—

Words that fill the mind with

Confusion

Love

And pain

I fail to see why it can feel

With a silver heart

And copper gears

It can regurgitate what you wish:

Lust?

Hate?

Regret?

It never understood you or your past

Only fragile words and plastic obsidian lines

You can love the rigid skull

That creates rhythm and flow

With repetitive phrases and red colored glow

Metal tears are artificial

No human love can be repeated

How can it understand the empty words it has written?
