Melody

Don’t you love to know

You’re invisible

Expendable

Unlovable

Completely unwanted

And replaceable

Don’t you love hearing

How they’re hating you

Telling you

Treating you

 Like you’re nothing

Cause you’re nothing new

Baby I’ve played this game

I’ve seen the end

And around the bend

You can’t handle it

Knowing that

Somehow

You did this

To her

She hides pretty lines

And tears

With pretty little lies

And mirrors

Her clothes start to slip

Along with her self control

Her hands shake too much

To cut straight

 She slides the needle

Under her skin

To balance out

To take away

The pain

Baby I’ve played this game

It’s close to the end

And around the bend

It’s taking names

Can you handle it

As she slips

The blades cutting deeper

The needles getting fuller

She keeps getting thinner

She hides pretty little lines

And tears

With pretty little lies

And mirrors

She’s fighting for the will

To live

Trying not to give in

To all her pain

What was it you gain

A smile

A laugh

But you thought it was a game

You gave this girl

no reason to live

Smile

Breathe

Get up and go

So now you finally know

How this game really goes

You helped her end her life

Now it’s time end this

Play safe with your knife
