A Melodic Youth

A Melodic Youth

Our childhood is like a melody

A melody of light

That is heard from within

We might

Hear the melodies of life

Hear the waves of the voice

That ascended from skies

We might rejoice

A melodic nostalgia

That it is made with memories

Will last forever

Even in a century

A song within

Shine our hearts

Telling us that nothing

Will tear us apart

As time flows

A melody fades

Like a dust

For the rest of the days

Darkness reigns

Plague spreads

A melody dying

As its blood is shed

A melody is like a symbol

A symbol of hope

That dies so fast

We cannot cope

Growing up is cruel

Like the melody’s death

We said farewell

As it took the last breath
