Me like no other

Knead the bread

Cut the meat.

Do the chores.

Repeat it all day after day.

I go each day,

Same face, same clothes

Attitude is different.

All day they hate on the job

All minutes begrudging

Not the one who shows up with a smile.

Show up and do one's best

A motto held dear

You do your best and be grateful

This is me.

All others tear apart work

Ungrateful they be.

Here I stand, hoping to work.

Here to work and grateful each day.

Here to cut the meat as long as they please.

Here to knead until fingers red.

Here as a worker forever.
