Me and You

Location

Falling for you that first day of school,

Your grandma must have thought I was a fool.

The uneven sidewalk gave it away,

But never gave our friendship a delay.

When talking with you it's like no other.

Me and you alone; without your brother.

Down the street we walked until we met our stop.

Each day with you my stomach felt a drop.

My heart cries out for what took place.

Your in the hospital with a broken face.

Progress is slowly in the making,

Until then my heart will be aching.

It will take time for you to get better,

In the meantime I am writing you these letters.
