Me

I am a fire burning everything near

Everything I see, and everything I hear.

I swallow every fallen tear,

And when I come near

You are engulfed in fear.

Now I am a dangerous weapon

Destroying everything that crosses my path.

In your hands, I am held

Otherwise I am strapped to your armor.

Now I am a teenage girl

So scared and frail.

I wear my hair in a ponytail

I seem insane, as I rock your world.

I am lost and confused

With a bad past

I have yet another choice

To cross my path

Now I have told you what I am.

So, you should tell me what you are.

You can be anything you want

And escape to your own world.
