A hand me down name by my great grandmother who had it first.

It symbolizes much more than the name itself.

It symbolizes a romance- language given name as said on the internet, and apparently is an island on one of the Visayan Islands. But to me it represents more than just romance or islands.

To me it means optimistic, it means something creative.

Something like the color blue.

Dark yet gradient.

Gloomy yet bright.

The list goes on.

As does the list of nicknames my name has.

“Isa, Ibby, Bella, Izzy, Belle, etc”.

Dozens of nicknames my name has yet i’m glad no one calls me by any of them.
