Maybe she liked the pain,

Maybe she liked the pain,

Hell, maybe she loved the pain.

Or maybe she just misses the pain.

Because you see, it's a different kind of pain.

It's not the pain that you get when you scrape your knees or when your first love leaves.

It's a pain with a rush.

A release.

Time continues and so does the temptation.

To rise above it or sink back into it's luring comfort.

But maybe she likes the pain,

Maybe she loves the pain.

Maybe she'll never escape.
