Maudlin

My dear girl, my little kitten. How sweet is the memory of your lovely smile that glows so brightly in my mind. The simple mention of your name puts me in a drunken stupor that is twice as intoxicating as my normal brew of whiskey and vodka mixed in a poisons blend that is so bitter and cold. Maybe it's just the memory and maybe it's my poor heart giving up on the idea of love. But to me my sweet maudlin you'll always be my first love and will always be the happy place I find myself looking too when the sun is gone and my sky is black. My heart is yours sweet maudlin. May your journey lead you to a bright future.
