Man of Stone

Some people think men must be of stone

Unmoving, unceasing, no emotion, unfeeling

But I look at my hands, violently shaking

My body is rapidly earth-quaking

Over time, mountains get worn down

It is me that is getting torn, now

Don't let them see me

I'm a statue, like I'm supposed to be

Swallow what I feel like some goddamn horse pill

Blink away the tears, but still

Wanna show I care, but that can't happen

Have to be like the rest, fall in line and snap in

Stiff jaw, cold heart

Girls wonder why men, like

Tearing love apart
