The Man I once knew....

You were once the boy I knew.

You saw and heard things that changd you.

Through thorns and thistles our worlds collide.

A man emerged to my surprise.

And here we differ, with forks before a road to travel once more.

My heart flutters to the journey ahead.

Will we get lost around the bend?

And then a thought came gently through.

You're not alone. I'm here with you.

So to the man I say.." walk slowly, quietly along".

For the heart of the wind will guide your way.

At the end of the journey you'll be rewarded.

For my love for you is swell, never ending to this very day.
