Mama doesn’t know best.
She thinks we need him here,
when in reality, we don’t.
He makes me who I’m not,
who I never wanted to be.
He’s the person whom I dread,
the one that i despise.
but to mama nothing’s real,
in her head we’re all okay,
she doesn’t want to know
that I’m drowning in despair.
all these tears i can’t hold in,
all this pain which I must bear,
it makes me die inside
to know that in the end,
Mama doesn’t know best.
