I believe in the American people

I know that they are still great

And I am a citizen of the greatest country

That has or will ever be.

'Tis true that we need improvement,

And some things have fallen apart,

But I know that America is ready

For a revival of mind and heart.

I vote for a return to morals, 

Because of the lack of them,

I am not afraid to speak my mind.
