Madness

PapaOwl

Tears fall like rain that slides down the windowpanes,
And eyes mist over like that of pregnant clouds.
Even if you wish to remember,
Nine times out of ten it’s just your imagination.
Sometimes you wonder if it isn’t all just madness,
Or if it’s these things that make you clever.

There has to be a way to know if one is clever.
Even though you may feel the pain of watching out of windowpanes,
You must be sure not to succumb to the madness.
Even if the life you live is gray like rain clouds,
You must take the chance to use your imagination.
That is … if you can remember.

All through life one can only remember
The things they find clever.
But other times you remember that imagination
That you used to make pictures in the windowpanes,
And images out of the clouds.
But those memories fade away into that of madness.

It is that madness,
That makes us not remember
All the good times under the clouds,
And all the things that make us clever.
Just like the pictures in the windowpanes,
Madness makes us crazy from our imagination

Sometimes though, what saves us is our imagination.
It pushes away that madness,
But sometimes it makes the rain fall down the windowpanes.
You can only hope to remember
The things that make you clever.
But sometimes you feel confused like that of thunder clouds.

It’s those clouds
That hinder our imagination.
It’s those clouds that stop us from being clever.
It’s those clouds that induce the madness.
Even if we can’t really remember,
We choose to make those pictures in the windowpanes.

So thunder clouds induce our madness,
Just as our imagination hinders us to remember.
So we are only clever when we see pictures in the windowpanes.
