lyring rat

Mon, 10/07/2019 - 19:38 -- N1sand

I wish I was a cat.

Instead of a lying rat.

The cat doesn't care about it's colors.

In fact they will show them off to others.

Instead of hiding from all the hate.

Unlike the rat who lies in wait.

Who keeps on hiding

Hoping no one will find them.

For they fear the judgemental stares.

They fear all of the glares.

But most of all they fear being chased away.

For being who they are in the day.

A cat is not afraid to strutt it stuff.

After all they are them and still loved.

So here I'll stay as a rat.

Wishing, praying one day.

I'll escape from this ratty skin.

And change into a beautful confident feline.

Wouldn't that be the day.
