Lovers in the Night

It was cold in October, and the wind was fair
The moon was full, and the clouds weren't there
In the dark of night when everyone slept
Is where this secret most foul is kept.

Early September where our story begins
It starts in an ancient house with two very good friends.
They've known each other for a very long time,
But who knew things could go bad at the drop of a dime.

These two friends, Scott and Charlie, were arguing
Scott yelled at the other
About something he heard
From his most trusted brother

Sleeping with your wife said he the other day
When this was heard
His anger couldn't be kept at bay
They fought and argued until Scott went away.

When he got home he plotted and planned
And thought of a murder that was most grand
He would dig up two holes on the outskirts of town
To bury the bodies
Where they could never be found

One month had passed and October was here
And the time for the "business trip" was drawing near
Scott couldn't wait
Rage had taken his head
His mind could not rest
Until the lovers were dead

At the motel he found his wife's car
And also his friend's not very far
The anger was there
When they both die then life will be fair

He waited till two
Then got out the knife
He unlocked the door
Time to end this strife

Into the room quiet and quick
If he had a conscience he might have been sick
Of the fact that he was going through with this

Covering the mouth of the victim in bed
Down comes the knife so close to his head
Slowly slicing his neck from ear to ear
Shhh he says there is nothing to fear
Death has finally come

There goes one
And now one to go
They should have known
That one day I'd show
To cleanse them of their crime

To the other side of the bed he crept
Like a monster while the child slept
Now he smiles big as can be
After her death his mind will be free

Down goes the knife
Into her chest
Taking her life
For the one that he lost
The time has come my bride
To leave this earthly realm
Death is now done

Into the car he throws the corpses
And down the street he drives
Carrying the bodies
Of what used to be lives

Into the holes he threw them down
Into a place where they'll never be found
Into his chair his mind nice and free
Into this chair where he'll sleep for eternity.
