This is Love (What is Love? Part 2)

You are my sun, my source of life,

the strength I always need.

My rock, my anchor, my cornerstone,

with you, I’m always me.

From then until now,

we made it somehow,

a friendship stronger than blood.

Others came and went,

But you never swayed—

always the shoulder to cry on.

When my heart got broken,

you’d take my hand and hold it,

a sister who was second to none

My partner in crime,

my best friend for life,

but everything came undone

She was a breath of fresh air,

Winter to Spring,

the change from Chaos to Cosmos.

With Hestia’s purity,

and Venus’ beauty,

Heaven must have favored her the most.

It happened in an instant—

a second, if that—

my whole world disappeared.

Her love was a storm,

it swept me up and away,

I don’t think I ever looked back.

I wanted to find you,

but my heart beat my mind,

She is my sun, my source of life.
