Love is Life

Sun, 05/28/2017 - 08:38 -- ACME

Love is both extacy and pain,

Both loss and gain,

Both sunshine and rain,

Both complex and plain.

Love is like oleander,

Sweet poison in all candor,

Causing you to meander,

A poison to which you feel obliged to surrender.

Love is a like star,

Shining bright but so far,

Burning to a char,

Illuminating in the dark.

Love is like a glorious sunrise,

Reflected in your eyes,

One day it will be high in the sky,

And one day it will die.

Love is life.
