With love for Frank Sinatra

Dear Frank,

These days I dream
to be your soulful tragedienne -
Your affinity across the sea;
That awaits your return so patiently.

For a man who lives one love at a time,
He is the effete lyrics of a hopeless rhyme.
Allow me to be the aperitif wine,
that scintillates the mornin' in you
while you recapture your shine
that you lost to intoxication and debauchery.

A vagabond debonaire
that ensnares many mares
of avant garde class;
Like hens cluck in askance,
they observe as he asks for one dance-

I'll play the uncouth insouciant,
albeit the brief rivalry.
By my troth; I'll know to whom I am owned.
Just give me the peace of mind,
that when you return you'll be mine alone.

Somewhere beyond the sea!(He's somewhere waiting for me la la la la)
He returns to the shore to be adored by me.

With much affection,
your darling ever'Amore.
