Lotus

Born in muddy solid depths,

You rise, free, floating into the liquid realm,
To burst forth as a blissful blossom,
And be admired by the heavens.

Transcending three phases of matter,
Yet fettered by none,
At home at once in all three,
Thou art a lesson in existence sublime.

Reflecting on your example, we can learn,
That our past actions though murky,
And bound we may be by this existence,
We are free to grow, aspiring to a higher realm.
