Lost It All

Even though my love was built

It was torn down by so much guilt

I was his dirty little secret

His love was like a song

But it was wrong

I fell for his lies

He told me he loved me

But he lied to my face

Just to get to third base

He always looked on the outside

But never looked within

His love was warm the cold

The last battle it took both my heart and soul

He broke my heart in ways I could never imagine

Even though I gave him so much passion

I only had so many rations to share

But now I feel so bare

I sit upon my bed wondering what lies ahead
